Fluffy Bottom Farm

Fluffy Bottom Farm and Creamery is committed to producing artisanal dairy products in a mindful way, which is one of the many reasons The Farmer's Hand is so excited to offer their products in our store.  The farm, which is located in Chelsea, MI, raises Jersey cows and Lacaune sheep for milking, and in addition to their lovely cheese, Fluffy Bottom Farm is the ONLY yogurt producer...in the entire state of Michigan!  Pictured here: stewed rhubarb, housemade granola, toasted coconut, chia seed, and Fluffy Bottom yogurt, of course!

Arbor Tea

Anyone who knows The Farmer's Hand, knows we love tea! But the best tea in the world doesn't come from United States, let alone our Great State of Michigan.  So, where do we go from here? We find the very best fair trade varieties that are thoughtfully sourced, and packaged here in Michigan. In other words, we go to Arbor Teas, where owners Jeremy and Aubrey (and their knowledgable team!) travel the world and take great care to understand how tea is harvested, processed and consumed.

Keep Growing Detroit

Much like The Farmer's Hand, Keep Growing Detroit exists to promote a food sovereign city.  Consisting of several nationally-recognized programs including the Garden Resource Program and Grown in Detroit, the organization supports a robust network of over 1,400 urban gardens and farms.  They also provide opportunities for over 70 growers to work with local markets like The Farmer's Hand to make their produce accessible to Detroiters throughout the city.

Hyperion Coffee Co.

Located in Ypsilanti's Depot Town neighborhood, Hyperion Coffee Co. is a single-origin coffee roaster that cares as deeply about the coffee as they do about people.  Like The Farmer's Hand, they go to great lengths to learn the origins of their products, and respect the individuality of each coffee they sell.  The result?  Coffee that unique to its grower.  Never over-roasted or manipulated. But beautifully aromatic, full of flavor.  An ode to the people who made it. No wonder we love them so much!
